Martha Karua has called on professional to first ensure their own integrity before laying blame on government institutions.
She said by pointing out lapses within each professional group, issues like corruption and nepotism in the work place would be better fought.
Karua was speaking at KICC at the opening of a symposium on professional services and career exhibition.
The Justice minister said the government initiated Governance, Justice, Law and Order Reform Sector, (GJLOS), was heavily reliant on professionals in its quest to improve service delivery to the public.
The symposium brings together various professionals from both the private public sectors that are meant to come up with ways of enhancing integrity within the workplace.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w06d-ORJano1) You falsely accused Raila of planning genocide after the elections.
2)Karua Defends ECK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yV8AJY_bRc
(on one hand you recently stated that the Kivuitu ECK coul dnot be trusted to run a free and fair election but in January you were the loudest at telling people to go to court because you knew Kibaki had won fairly.
In summary: Martha Karua, even though you may advocate for media boundaries, we live in a global world. You might gag Kenyan media but CNN, BBC and reuters are watching and they have all eyes on Kenya and on all future presidential canditates.
You dont stand a chance at presidency given your past utterances and deeds.
Madam i hope that your team logs on here and actually reads what people write because i think that the best minds of us Kenyans are here to help.
I remember a few weeks ago i wrote some comments on the Nation Online but they were not published because they were too sensetive politically. The following are some of the issues i think you can help as well asssist the wananchi with.
1.) In regard to the insecurity within Nairobi and its environs i would suggest that the KPR( Kenya Police Reserve) be brought back to assist the Regular Police as it was during the Moi Era. They did a very good job in maintaning mobile patrols in areas that were not accessible to the ordinary Police with transport, Vehicle problems and most of them new the areas that they were live in and the thugs who lived there so they were a mjor source of information security wise. I know that because i was one of them(KPR :-)). Please do not assume all the things writen about them are true, some are but! NOT ALL.They were exemplary police officers and ideal role models and figures because they were never corrupt.
2.) I would like to suggest that a new piece of legistration be tabled in parliament regarding extradition of Kenyan Citizens to Foreign Countries. The new law should prohibit Extradition of Kenyans to face any form of charges to any foreign power or government. All the Western gvernments do it so should we.
